Tonight's the last night of the Singapore Fireworks Festival 2006.
Jiawang went to 'chope' a spot on the bridge at 3pm this afternoon. I only arrived at 5pm together with Kaile. Ashley came and joined us slightly later. As usual, there was already a grand display of tripods along the bridge.

Since it's a Saturday and also the final session of the fireworks, today was SUPER CROWDED!!! 'Buay Tarhan' ah....!!! Met some familiar faces on the bridge too. Jean bypassed our spot and caught Kaile and I marking papers on the bridge while waiting. We are very hardworking leh. Can't believe I actually finished marking a stack of 308 papers on the bridge! Haha... Then, we saw Wang Yu and 2 other CBSS girls too.

By 7 plus, the bridge was already jam packed. I was stupid enough to leave my precious spot to go to the washroom at Fullerton hotel. Darn... why did I choose to go toilet at that time?? I came back at the edge of the bridge at 8.05pm. Then began the arduous journey of going back to my spot again.

OMG... it was HORRIBLE. Everyone was trying to squeeze in onto the bridge. And alot of people refused to move forward. Actually, my spot was quite close to One Fullerton. I actually took a whole bloody 45 minutes to get back from the edge of the bridge to my spot. walau... It's packed like sardines!

On some occassions, I had to tip-toe! A woman was carry a child infront of me and we were like so freaking close to each other. Almost staring into each others' eyes. Since it's packed with people of all shapes, sizes, nationality, sexes whatsoever, it was also freaking HOT and SUFFOCATING.

I nearly gave up along the way. I climbed up to the bench by the side and tried to find a way through the shrub. Unfortunately, I got stucked. Sigh... I tried calling Jiawang, Ashley and Kaile. My goodness, there's no signal!!!! @#@%&!%# Luckily, my sms got through to Jiawang. Told him to help me set up my tripod and perhaps get Kaile or Ashley to help me take some shots.

As I was feeling rather depressed, Kaile came to the rescue. haha... actually, there were still spaces further up the bridge. The bottleneck is just a small section near the edge of the bridge where I was standing and no one was moving. We managed to squeeze our way passed the bottleneck and eventually got back. The whole bloody journey took 45 minutes. AUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Today's fireworks by team France was super wide, spanning across the entire area. However, the colours were not as nice as the other teams. The main colours were green and golden, with a little bit of red. Photos are still in the camera. Gonna load it up soon.
On our way back, we saw Kelly! hahaha... small world, small place yah?

And now, my msn keeps hanging. Augh.... why??????
Tired...
